Ali Zafar (Urdu: علی ظفر; born 18 May 1980) is a celebrated Pakistani singer-songwriter, actor, model, producer, screenwriter, and painter. He began his journey in the entertainment industry on Pakistani television before gaining widespread recognition as a musician. His talent and charisma eventually led him to a successful career in Bollywood, paving the way for many other Pakistani artists to venture into Indian cinema. Over the years, Ali Zafar has earned numerous accolades, including five Lux Style Awards and a Filmfare Award nomination.
Ali Zafar rose to fame with his iconic debut single, "Channo," from his album Huqa Pani, which sold over five million copies worldwide. The song dominated music charts and earned him critical acclaim. Transitioning into acting, Ali made his Bollywood debut in the 2010 satirical comedy Tere Bin Laden, which earned him widespread praise and several nominations for Best Male Debut.
